There are many ways you can increase the opt-in rate for your squeeze page or website. There’s virtually no point sending tons of traffic to a page that doesn’t grab your visitors’ details. That being said, we must constantly tweak our squeeze page to optimize opt-ins.
There are 3 main components which can be tweaked to optimize your squeeze page.
1) Your Offer
Your free offer is your golden ticket to getting subscribers. The more compelling your offer is, the more people would want to have it. The title of your offer plays a very important role as well. It can make your offer attractive as hell, or make people want to close the web browser.

2) Your Copy
The copy of your opt in page is equally as important as the offer itself. The layout of the page must ideally be neat, well designed and also compatible with most web browsers. The copy must fit nicely into the layout of the page and really show the benefits to the readers if they want to get your free offer. It normally starts out with a big header, followed by a sub-header and then bullet points for what your free offer is giving them. To give you a better idea, think of a free offer you have subscribed to before. What does the design/copy look like? Did it attract your attention at first sight?
3) Your Opt In Form
The opt in form is an often overlooked component of squeeze pages. People that think by just having a simple form filed and subscribe button, people will be compelled to give their personal details to you. A good opt in form is eye catching, neat and conveys security. I’m using GetResponse and recently they announced a brand new Form Builder which creates compelling opt in forms which have been proven to have higher opt in rates.
